Week 3 - Designing Layout and Content - Colours

 

Week 3

Lecture - Today I learned about what is a website layout and how to create a good website layout. Mr Fauzi showed us how does a website header, page body, navigation menu, website footer looks like. I also learned different kinds of layout such as single column layout, two column layout, split-screen layout, asymmetrical layout and grid layout.

    Today our class also having the Flip Group Presentation from Group 2. The group have presented their own favourite website designers / studio which is Bike Bear, Henz Studio, Juno Design, Walk Production and Designville Studio. They have been provided a few Q&A questions. Below here shows their questions and answers :

1. Out of these 5 studios, if you were to choose one to do an internship with, which would you choose?

Bike Bears, because their works are of very different styles, and we can learn a lot from it.

2. Which company has Juno Designer cooperated with?

3. What did you learn from this flip presentation?

This presentation gave me an insight on how the industry works, and what we will face after completing our studies.

4. Why did you choose these studios?

Because we like their designs and their designs inspire us.

Tutorial and Practical - I have come out some ideas of my website banner and cv as well, so I show my ideas to Mr Fauzi and he give me some suggestions how to improve even better.
