Week 8

Lecture - Today lecture's class, I learned about what is CMS (Content Management System) and what is WordPress. Mr Fauzi also show us a video about teaching beginners to use WordPress. WordPress have a lot of theme and the Top 6 are Astra, Monochrome, OceanWP, Brisko, Opta  and Remake. 

    Today our class also having the Flip Group Presentation from Group 7. The group have presented their own favourite website designers / studio which is Maroon Studio, Cubeevo, Walk Production and Corsiva Lab. They have been provided a few Q&A questions. Below here shows their questions and answers :

    1 : For Maroon Studio what is gamification/ar ? Can give example ?

    A : Their environment and their studio is very creative for me.

    2 : For Cubeevo, what sets this company apart from others?

    A : Their profile and works are more modern than others.  

    3 : Most of the studio present provide web services, how their web design inspires you?

    A : Their layout and compositions. They provide different design style and these are the thing that we can learn.

    4 : Out of 4 studios which one do you guys like the most ?

    A : Corvisa Lab , their thing is more authentic.

Tutorial - I have done research about my flowchart, sketches and wireframes. So I draw out the design and show it to Mr Fauzi. I explain to him how I wanted my website to run through and ask for his opinion about which part I should improve or change it. 

Practical - I have done uploading my videoshowreels in the slide. That actually took me a lot of time to do it. Firstly, I filter all my past portfolios and select the ones I like. Then I use Photoshop to do the mockup of my portfolios. Third, I use Adobe After Effects to edit my video showreel, I put everything in the After Effects and edit one by one by adding the words and select the music that suits my video. Finally it is done, and I upload it on my youtube channel !
